Day 6
Day In Normandy
Breakfast at Hotel – Your pick from your hotel will be at 07.00am for this fantastic full day tour – You will start your drive and our driver / guide who will give you an introduction for D Day and the battle of Normandy, Upon arrival to Normandy you will start your tour to visit Pegasus Bridge, One of the 3 most famous bridges in the World War II – Your guide will drive to Arromanches to explore the rmaines of the artifical harbor, then you will drive to the German Coastal artillery batteryof Longues Sur mer, then you will see the American cemetery of colleville that covers around 172 acres, and that contains about 9387 military veterans, then you will stop to see the American Interpretative center where you will see documentry films related to D Day and the battle of Normandy, Your trip will continue to visit Omaha Beach that since June 6th 1944 has become the symbol of the american sacrifice f american soldiers in World war II – then you will finish your journey with a private guided visit to Pointe du Hoc, where the Germans built 6 casemates to house a battery of 155 mm guns, ituated between Utah beach and Omaha Beach, On your way back to Paris you will pass Grand Camp Maisy and the German Cemetery then drive back to your hotel by 08.00pm
