Program Introduction:

This program aims to support local communities in Cambodia through voluntary humanitarian activities, focusing on education, healthcare, and infrastructure improvement. Participants will have the opportunity to contribute to local development, raise community awareness, and explore Cambodia's rich culture and iconic tourist attractions.


Day 1: Arrival in Phnom Penh

Morning:

  • Welcome at Phnom Penh International Airport and transfer to the hotel.

Afternoon:

  • Introductory meeting with the local team to learn about the program and an overview of Cambodian culture.

Evening:

  • Welcome dinner at a local restaurant and meet fellow participants.

Day 2 & 3: Volunteering in Phnom Penh's Outskirts

Volunteer Activities:

  • Visit a local school and engage with children in educational and recreational activities.
  • Conduct a hygiene and health workshop, including distributing hygiene kits and teaching the importance of personal cleanliness.
  • Improve school facilities by painting classrooms and providing essential school supplies.

Evening:

  • Spend time interacting with local families, listening to their stories, and learning about their culture.

Day 4: Exploring Phnom Penh

Morning:

  • City tour of Phnom Penh, including visits to the Royal Palace and the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum to understand Cambodia’s history.

Afternoon:

  • Enjoy a traditional and sustainable lunch at a local restaurant.

Evening:

  • Visit a local market to support Cambodian artisans by purchasing handmade products.

Day 5 & 6: Supporting the Community in Kampong Cham

Morning:

  • Travel to the village of Kampong Cham.

Volunteer Activities:

  • Assist in renovating homes for impoverished families by painting and repairing basic furniture.
  • Conduct health workshops for mothers and children in the village.
  • Distribute clothes, blankets, and other essential supplies to needy families.

Evening:

  • Spend time with local families, sharing conversations about their challenges and daily lives.

Day 7: Journey to Angkor Wat Temples

Morning:

  • Travel to Siem Reap and visit the iconic Angkor Wat temples, one of the world’s largest and most famous archaeological sites.

Afternoon:

  • Take a break at a picturesque archaeological site and enjoy a guided tour of the history of the temples and Khmer culture.

Evening:

  • Return to the hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 8: Humanitarian Activities in Siem Reap

Morning:

  • Visit an educational center for children and participate in workshops and recreational activities.

Afternoon:

  • Help distribute books and educational toys to children at the center.

Evening:

  • Explore the handicraft market to support local projects and purchase souvenirs.

Day 9: Visit to Tonle Sap Lake Villages

Morning:

  • Travel to Tonle Sap Lake and visit the floating villages that rely on the lake for resources.

Volunteer Activities:

  • Distribute hygiene supplies and clean water to families in the floating villages.
  • Conduct environmental awareness sessions to help protect the lake’s resources.

Evening:

  • Return to Siem Reap and enjoy free time to explore the city at night.

Day 10: Farewell to Cambodia

Morning:

  • Closing session to reflect on the experience and achievements of the program.

Afternoon:

  • Final shopping trip to support local shops and purchase last-minute souvenirs.

Evening:

  • Transfer to the airport for departure home.

  • Accommodation: Stay in local guesthouses and eco-friendly hotels.
  • Transportation: Travel using sustainable options such as bicycles and traditional boats on the lake.
  • Humanitarian Activities: Focus on supporting education, distributing hygiene kits, and improving homes and schools.
