Program Introduction:

This program offers a unique humanitarian tourism experience, combining volunteer activities in local communities with the opportunity to explore Morocco's rich culture and breathtaking landscapes. Participants will contribute to positive change in the lives of locals while experiencing the vibrant traditions and natural wonders of Morocco.


Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Morning:

  • Arrival in Marrakech, meet and greet with the organizing team.

Afternoon:

  • Orientation session about the program and the importance of volunteer work in Morocco.

Evening:

  • Welcome dinner with the team, getting to know fellow participants.

Day 2 & 3: Volunteer Activities in Marrakech Villages

Volunteer Activities:

  • Renovate a school in rural Marrakech by:
    • Painting walls.
    • Repairing school furniture.
    • Providing school supplies for children.

Evening:

  • Short cultural tours in the village to interact with locals and learn about their traditions.

Day 4: Educational Visit in Marrakech

Morning:

  • Visit a local association focused on education and healthcare for children.
  • Participate in recreational and educational activities for children.

Afternoon:

  • Host a workshop on personal hygiene and distribute hygiene kits to children.

Evening:

  • Explore Marrakech landmarks such as Jemaa el-Fna Square and the old souks.

Day 5 & 6: Atlas Mountains and Humanitarian Activities

Morning:

  • Depart for the Atlas Mountains to provide assistance in remote villages.

Volunteer Activities:

  • Visit a local hospital or healthcare center to distribute medical supplies and offer first-aid workshops.
  • Support villages by distributing clothing and blankets.

Evening:

  • Spend the night in a mountain village, sharing a traditional Moroccan dinner with locals.

Day 7: Visit to Ouarzazate

Morning:

  • Travel to Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the Sahara Desert.

Activities:

  • Visit a handicraft center and meet women artisans creating traditional rugs and crafts.
  • Support local artisans by purchasing handmade products.

Evening:

  • Tour the UNESCO-listed Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou.

Day 8: Exploring the Merzouga Desert

Morning:

  • Head to Merzouga to experience the vast Sahara Desert.

Afternoon:

  • Camel ride through the golden sand dunes of the Sahara.

Evening:

  • Enjoy dinner at a desert camp with local music performances, learning about Berber traditions.

Day 9: Return to Marrakech and Leisure Time

Morning:

  • Travel back to Marrakech.

Afternoon:

  • Shop in Marrakech markets to support local vendors and artisans.

Evening:

  • Relax in a traditional Moroccan riad.

Day 10: Farewell to Morocco

Morning:

  • Closing session to share experiences and present certificates of appreciation to participants.

Evening:

  • Transfer to the airport for departure.
